Multnomah County Library Tours: A Firsthand look @ Mass Timber Construction

Regional In-Person Tours (Portland, OR)
This unique educational event will provide an in-depth look at two mass timber libraries—Multnomah County’s Albina Library Expansion and Multnomah East County Library. Attendees will tour both sites with project team members and hear strategies for successful, code-compliant mass timber buildings with insight into detailing and construction techniques.
PPE: Please bring your own PPE: hard hat, vest, safety glasses, closed-toe shoes. Limited quantities will be available onsite.
Agenda:
1:00pm – 1:15pm – Meet at Albina Library
1:15pm – 2:15pm – Tour: Albina Library Extension
2:15pm – 3:00pm – Load bus (provided) travel to Multnomah East County Library
3:00pm – 4:00pm – Tour of Multnomah East County Library
4:00pm – Load back onto bus, return to Albina Library
